Aberdeen Tavern - 432 Aberdeen Ave., Hamilton
Overall Experience: 5/5
We visited Aberdeen Tavern last year for dinner and returned for brunch on Mother's Day. The restaurant is beautiful inside. It was the site of an old bank.
I wish I had some pictures of our food to share but we will definitely be going back.
For dinner, we showed up without a reservation on a Friday and it was packed. The owner was sitting at a table close to the entrance and heard that we did not have a reservation so he gave up his table. The menu had just enough to choose from. We shared the beet and squash salad which was excellent! Entrees I would recommend are the chicken supreme and the braised beef. Entree prices comparable to The French......average $20-25.
No complaints about the service and the owner came over to ask us about our dinner. He mentioned that they were starting a brunch menu so we decided to try it on Mother's day. For brunch they had homemade scones which were so good!
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!
