We tried The French last night. The restaurant is quite nice but it was really busy and a little loud. The menu has great choices for shareable plates and we tried the pork croquettes and parsnips. Both dishes were excellent.
For drink selections, bottles of wine were pricey but you could order by the glass and there was a limited selection of beers and other cocktails. For entrees, between the four of us we tried the steak frites, ricotta gnocchi and lamb shoulder. The online menu is slightly different than the menu we ordered from. Average price for an entree was $18-$28.
All of the entree dishes were excellent. We ordered sourdough bread and asked for extra salt, which the waiter forgot about so he gave us our dessert selections for free! We thought it was really nice and didn't expect it.
We would definitely go back to this restaurant!
